Stephen Mahony, Keegan McKay, Albert Jan, and Rachel Lynn are highly experienced in managing sports injuries at all stages—from early treatment to full return to high-level sport. All our physios are highly skilled in managing rotator cuff tears, tennis and golfer’s elbow, ACL and meniscal injuries, as well as foot and ankle conditions. Rachel

Rachel Lynn graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of Queensland in 2024. As an experienced school cross-country coach and long-distance runner, Rachel has a deep understanding of the demands of endurance sports, the importance of strength training, Pilates and mobility for injury prevention and recovery. Rachel takes a patient-centred approach to pain management, combining manual therapy with tailored exercise programs to help individuals recover and perform at their best. She has interest in treating running-related injuries, low back pain and post-surgical rehabilitation. Passionate about movement and physical activity, Rachel is dedicated to helping runners and everyday individuals stay active, strong, and injury-free. If you are a runner, Rachel is the physio to see!

Albert

Albert Jan is both a physio and basketball coach. He completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) at the University of Queensland in 2023. Albert developed a special interest for performance optimisation in young elite athletes after sustaining multiple injuries playing high school basketball. He combines hands-on treatment with sport specific coaching to support athletes and everyday individuals recover stronger, stay healthy and perform at their best. Albert enjoys a diverse fitness regimen including running, weightlifting, Calisthenics and has genuine enthusiasm towards helping his clients thrive physically and mentally.

Keegan

Keegan McKay has been part of the Le Physique Physiotherapy and Exercise Rehabilitation team since 2017. He completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the Australian Catholic University. Keegan has previously worked with junior AFL and basketball teams and is highly experienced with treating sporting injuries, acute and chronic neck and back pain. Keegan also has a keen interest in treating upper limb injuries, including the elbow, wrist and hand.

Madison

Madison O’Neill completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the University of Queensland in 2018, succeeding a Bachelor of Science with a major in Physiology. She addresses the psychological aspects of returning to activity, such as fear of re-injury and pain with movement. Madison delivers a holistic approach to physio treatment – combining hands on therapy, evidence-based exercise prescriptions and movement correction, to manage all phases of your injury recovery. Madison has a particular interest in indoor netball and captained Victoria’s Under 22 Mixed State Team in 2014.

Stephen

Stephen Mahony graduated from The University of Queensland in 1991 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy – First Class Honours. He has practiced as a sports and musculoskeletal physio in Teneriffe since 1998.

Stephen’s varied prior experience included working at the Royal Brisbane Hospital, in aquatic physiotherapy, attending to a rugby club, teaching UQ physio students, corporate health, and private practice in Vancouver.

Stephen is a highly experienced dry needling practitioner, having completed three levels of Australian Physiotherapy Association accredited training in 2008. Other advanced training courses undertaken include the Level 3 Sports Physiotherapy course (at the AIS), Dynamic Taping, running biomechanics and injury management, with digital video analysis. Stephen is continuously updating his knowledge in sports and musculoskeletal physio.

Stephen has enjoyed working at numerous sporting events, most notably the 2001 Goodwill Games (International Track and Field athletes), and the 2018 Commonwealth Games (Track Cycling). Stephen himself competed in three Duathlon World Championships, many triathlons, running events, and touch football competition. These days he keeps fit with Nordic Walking, Rogaining, SUP, cross-country runs, tennis and ‘Dad’ exercise with his young children.

Mimi

Mimi Le is the Clinical Director of Le Physique Physiotherapy. She graduated from the University of Queensland in 2000 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. Mimi has had the privilege of working in one of London’s most prestigious Physiotherapy clinics and has earned the trust of international elite athletes, rating her as their top choice physio. With extensive clinical experience, Mimi founded the Le Physique Physiotherapy philosophy of a holistic hands-on approach to healing, attaining pain-free physical optimisation and emotional well-being.

Beyond physio, Mimi is a Master NLP Practitioner and certified Life and Love Coach. Mimi specialises in transformational self-growth, romantic relationships, complex family dynamics and executive coaching. She focuses on helping her clients build self-worth, confidence and achieve their goals to live their best life. Integrating modalities such as Hypnosis, Kinesiology, Theta Healing, and mind-body energy therapies, Mimi tailors each coaching session to meet her clients’ unique needs.
